To-Dah List: Spring 2014

In no particular order…here is what I would love to accomplish this year.  This is a highly unreasonable  list - mostly due to a silly little thing called "Budget Constraints."  But I will create the list and be in love with what gets done and promise to be relaxed about what does not get done.  After all, Rome was not built in a day, right?

TO-DAH WISH LIST

• Curved brick sitting wall
• Party Lights hung   √ 4/6/14
• Remove dead Arborvitae and replace with living ones (have 6 - meed 8)  √ 4/26/14
• Dirt delivered and negative grade corrected in side yard √ 4/27/14
• AC unit leveled  √ 5/10/14
• Purchase AC screens (white w lattice) 
• Plant Clematis around AC lattice screens
• Dirt delivered and negative grade corrected in backyard √ 4/27/14
• Find solution for short window wells  √ 4/25/14
• Current bed plants dug up and replanted after additional dirt √4/24/14
• Large pots perfectly positioned on Patio & Planted with something beautiful
• Patio stain color corrected by concrete guy
• Backyard landscaping design on paper 
• Foundation landscaping rock removed and hauled away
• Mulch delivered and dispersed  √ 5/3/14
• Specimen plants purchased and planted (trees, evergreens, grasses,the BIG stuff) √5/3/14
• Arbor to go over walkway from driveway to backyard
• South fence line primed for Shade garden   √ 4/12/14
• Use up seeds in seed packets  √ 5/21/14
• 3 damaged Evergreens and 1 mutant Japanese maple removed   √ 4/19/14
• Receive starts of multiple Annabelle Hydrangea from 4th st house and Barb 4th St - √ 5/4/14
• South Wall of house: soil mended, Hydrangeas planted (idea: pockets of sedum from 4th st house, and bottom row of Mums OR liriope, Foxgloves, Bee balm)
• Walkway from driveway to sidewalk
• Acquire flagstones  √ 4/23/14
• Mark all plants
• Front landscaping plan devised - maybe enough so I will be able to plant tulip bulbs in fall….high hopes
• Porch paper lanterns hung
• Dresser on Porch painted
• Outdoor lighting - love the solar powered lanterns
• Bird feeders positioned  √ 5/23/14
• Document transitions and plantings.  Photograph each month
• Find place for hanging colored pots on fence and hanging baskets
• Place Flagstones for certain areas around home for traffic (in front of bird feeder, mailbox, next to AC unit, hose…..leaving room for access)
• Meet the HGTV people at Lowes so they'll come over and give me a backyard makeover so entire list will be done in 1 weekend ….. what's a girl without a dream?
