Gift from Dad

Last month I went to visit my parents. Mom and I walked the backyard and found an awesome pile of boulders, one of which I have picked out to bring home and have engraved.  It's the picking up part that has me stumped!  We also somehow ventured into the attic of the barn and found a bunch of planters my dad had built years ago for a lumber yard.  I picked a few out and weeks later my mom brought them down to me.  This is a photo of the tallest one.  I have 3 others, but they have not found homes yet.

I put it on the front brick patio.  This is my first summer with this patio. I hope to collect an arrangment of planters and maybe a bench....we'll see.  Either way, the planter here is perfect because it gives instant height!  This was an awesome find!  Thanks Dad & Mom.  (ps..nevermind the recycling bin hanging out on the porch....)
